Our favorite place to eat
Much like the Rayners, we will miss Santi's when we leave Charleston.
You will find us there usually at least once a week. You will find us there with friends. You will find us running into other people we know. You will find us with chips, salsa and pitchers of margaritas.

Milestone for Momma
She finally spent a night away from Joseph . . . and survived. Thank you to my amazing husband for a wonderful weekend "away" and 4 great years of marriage.

C . . . is for Cookie!
After about the millionth time that Joseph has signed "please" to me and me saying "Joseph, please use your words and tell Momma what you want" which is usually followed by more "please" signing and whining . . . . yesterday, he turned that sweet face up towards me and said "COOKIE!"
Today I am making cookies.

Joseph's bassinette
Friends borrowed Joseph's bassinette for their new baby and recently returned it. Before taking it to our storage unit (a.k.a. Linnea's attic) I thought it would be fun to take a picture of Joseph in it and compare to when he was born. I think he has grown . . . . . ??
I love this "Joseph humoring Momma" expression . . .

Joseph's Valentine
Sweet Laurel is back in town! We've missed her (and her parents) while she was on vacation. Isn't she a cutie?!

Talking to Nana & Papa
Joseph loves to chat on the phone. Here he is talking to Nana & Papa on Saturday morning. In the middle of the conversation he brought me his cup for a refill. All that talking really makes you thirsty!
