Game Day Sewing

I cleared a big project off my sewing list this week and had some time to do some "fun sewing" for us.

First I made this fun little outfit for Denbigh.  I picked up the fun chevron fabric at the new JoAnn store this week but was excited to have everything else already.  (And the T was a free download from one of my favorite embroidery sites.)

Then I decided that the whole family needed to have the T embroidered on a shirt as well.  I did a basic T for all the boys and then just used the outline to applique the chevron fabric onto my shirt.

And just in case you're worried - I downloaded the Notre Dame logo yesterday. We need to keep things even!

2 months old

We were in Nashville on Denbigh's 2-month birthday so these were taken two days later.

I was able to capture these pics on my phone on the actual day.

She smiles all the time now!

Other Nashville Adventures

On Sunday Aftin & I took the kiddos to ride Thomas the Train.  While the "big train" experience was somewhat lost on Jacob & Ava, they all enjoyed all the other activities.

And the rainy day gave us an excuse to buy umbrellas as a souvenir.
By evening the sun peeked out and we were able to enjoy the pool.
In the meantime Denbigh was able to get in a little snuggle time nap with her exhausted Aunt Alissa.

Sip N See

We spent Labor Day weekend in Nashville because of Daddy's fantasy football draft.  This was Denbigh's first big road trip and we celebrated with a Sip N See at Papa & Nana's home.  Aunt Aftin & Aunt Alissa also hosted and everything was very lovely.
Our friends wrote notes on these adorable blocks.

 The cupcakes were very yummy.

Denbigh enjoyed snuggling with Nana . .

and Papa . . .
and Nanny.
These cousins had a lot of fun playing together.
Nanny with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 All of us!
