Wedding

Unfortunately - once again we missed out on some key wedding pictures. I'm not quite sure what was going on. I felt like I took a lot! Front of the church.

Beautiful Charleston weekend

The storm that blew through the Riverdogs game on Friday night brought us a beautiful mild weekend. Last night we took advantage of the beautiful weather on the patio at Santi's (our favorite local mexican joint) with a pitcher of margarita's. Joseph didn't get any of the margaritas but he did enjoy his first foray into some tortillas, rice and chicken & mole`. He also enjoyed leaning back as far as he could in his highchair to check out the lattice work and colored lights above our heads.

Take me out to the ballgame

We took Joseph to his first baseball game on Friday night - the Charleston Riverdogs (Yankees farm team) vs. the Kannapolis Intimidators (White Sox farm team). Joseph was a trooper through the heat, humity, rain delay and fireworks. He stayed up waaaay past his bedtime although he did catch a little catnap after the rain cooled things off.
I'm a Cubs fan, no I'm a White Sox fan, no I'm a Cubs fan . . . Cold water bottles feel so good on hot nights. . .

Joseph's 9-month stats

We went to see the doctor yesterday and here are Joseph's latest stats:

weight = 23 lbs. 13 oz. = 90%
height = 30" = 93%
head = 19" = 97%

Interpretation - Joseph can beat up about 93.3 out of 100 other kids his age.

Contained!!!

Waking daddy up

After Joseph wakes up on Saturday morning and has his bottle, he likes to go wake up daddy. It usually ends up bringing quite a few giggles out of the little guy.

Joseph at the Park

I took Joseph to the park yesterday while Christopher was playing volleyball. He loved the swing and his first adventure of crawling through grass.

On Camera Again

Joseph and I just got home from a morning spent working at Chick-Fil-A. I'm very fortunate that Joseph is such a good boy that I'm able to take him with me. In addition to all the regular Cow Appreciation Day hooplah, a camera crew came in from our corporate office to get some footage to be used for the annual seminar. They seemed to love Joseph in his little cow onesie (who wouldn't?!) so I'm pretty sure he'll be appearing on the big screen.

Local Celebrity

Joseph (and his Momma) made a guest appearance on the local TV show - Lowcountry Live - this morning. Momma was promoting Chick-Fil-A's Cow Appreciation Day and Joseph appeared as a calf.

Isn't he the cutest calf ever?
This is our tuckered out little calf about half-way through his 3-hour nap afterwards. . . .

Jon & Natalie's Wedding

Okay - I realize these aren't the greatest because they're captured from our video camera. . . . but they'll have to do for now.

Other cute pictures from last week

Natalie's wedding

Much to our chagrin, we discovered that we spent so much time playing with our new video camera at Natalie's wedding, we forgot to take pictures. So - we have 1 solitary picture. I can play with our video camera again and save some still shots. . . . but it's going to take a little bit. Until then. . . . .

Joseph & Rudy

Joseph really loved hanging out with Rudy last week . . . as per usual. I think our boy needs a dog.
