Saturday was a very busy day with 3 parties to attend.
We started out with a Sheriff Callie birthday party for our friends Reese and Caitlin.
The boys had fun "lasso-ing" Deputy badges. . .
panning for gold. . .
hitting the pinatas. .
riding the ponies. . .
and eating the food.
In the afternoon Joseph hosted a playdate in the park for his school friends. We had ice cream sandwiches and Capri Suns and they enjoyed playing despite the light rain sprinkles at a couple moments.
They were especially excited when their teacher showed up.
In the evening we went to our dear friends, the Gallups, who hosted a good-bye party for us.
The kiddos enjoyed playing in their backyard while the adults chatted.
Alicia threw a fabulous party as per usual and everyone contributed such yummy food. We are going to miss all of these sweet friends who have been our family in Little Rock for the past 5 years.
On Sunday we attempted to recover from our big Saturday. The boys and I did some shopping for a certain little girl's first birthday party while Daddy worked on some research deadlines. A new carwash opened this weekend and was celebrating by giving out free "ultimate" carwashes. The boys love driving through the carwash so we participated. . . and they got suckers.
In the evening the boys went to their first day of VBS and came home so excited about what they had learned and the crafts they made.
